This is the sixth year of Shilpotsav. The Shilpotsav was started during the year 2007-08 by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment by way of collaborating with all the Apex Corporations and National Institutes under the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, with an objective to provide a platform to the beneficiaries assisted under the developmental schemes of various Finance & Development Corporations and National Institutes to showcase their art & craft. The event also provides opportunity for publicity of Ministry’s schemes with live examples of success and triumph over the poverty and unemployment among the target group with assistance from the Ministry’s schemes.
During last Shilpotsav, sale of approx. Rs.1.20 Crore was reported by our participants and a total footfall over 50000 was reported by the Dilli Haat authorities. Like, this year too we expect to have a large number of visitors, buyers and exporters to place their orders and buy products from this Shilpotsav during the festival season.
Buyer Seller Meet will also be held wherein buyers from Export Houses and Government Departments dealing in export oriented activities have been invited. A Medical Health Check-up by Specialist Doctors has also been organized for the participants during the exhibition.
